WHO ARE THE REAL COVIDIOTS?

Like any other Italian, a few days ago I heard about the latest Inter soccer team's accomplishment, now winner of the championship. Not giving a fuck about soccer, I'm obviously not here writing this entry to talk about it, but I would like to express my feelings regarding the mass gathering that took place in Milan that night when the game ended. I don't have time for stupid arguments such as "you can't get covid outdoors", or "I was wearing a mask". I wish I could slap them all in the face. Let me ask, what doctor ever said that the virus CAN'T be transmitted in the open air? Saying that the chances of contracting the virus are higher in closed spaces, and admitting there's no chance of catching it outside sound like two very different things to me. Let's move to the mask issue: let's begin by saying that a surgical mask doesn't ensure immunity against the virus, but it simply acts as a barrier capable of trapping the majority of droplets that otherwise will all disperse in the air; using our logic we would get to the conclusion that hundreds or thousands of people gathering together, some wearing a mask and others not wearing one at all, are at a higher risk of getting infected because they can't physically keep distance between one another and are inevitably breathing on each other's face. I am sure that Covid deniers and no-vaxx are hiding in between this herd, and I'm still waiting for them to provide me with scientific proof in support of their beliefs. I bet these ladies and gentlemen who so politely label sane people as "sheep" are the same folks educating themselves on YouTube and social media, sharing memes like excerpts from the Treccani dictionary (one of the most outstanding Italian vocabularies), the same folks who would get a personal loan so they don't have to give up the summer vacation they otherwise wouldn't be able to afford, the same folks who storm bars, restaurants and malls when the Government tries to ease the restrictions to slowly go back to a more regular life and they, ultimately, are the same folks not understanding that journalists must primarly "sell" news and that they are, therefore, just a bunch of opportunists. The real covidiots are those believing in fuckers selling themselves as leading lights in virology who graduated on YouTube, and fuckers bragging about the "top secret information" they have access to and that politicians are keeping away from the population, when a simple and logical flow of thoughts would make ourselves question how and why is the guy next door trying to become the next top influencer in possession of "such secrets"? Last but not least, the real covidiots are those disclosing bullshit "truths" about the vaccine by saying "don't get the vaccine, they will inject a microchip under your skin and take your freedom away". Really!? I am quite positive these ignorant human beings are well equipped with a new generation smartphone capable of sharing and downloading data from the internet and also fitted with built-in GPS, a smartwatch that obviously has internet access, and that the whole package is finished with daily Google and Facebook search and anybody knows that those companies hold our personal information everytime we create an account and that we sign a consent to allow them to do so. You've already been controlled for decades, you dickheads! You are the prime example of SHEEPLE! I guess I couldn't go one day without getting pissed at something, but thank you for reading my vent.
